How to take measurements
Use a soft tape measure. Measure on bare skin or close-fitting garments. Keep tape parallel to the floor and relaxed — not tight.
- Chest / Bust: around the fullest part.
- Waist: natural waistline, usually above the belly button.
- Hips: around the fullest part of the hips.
- Inseam: crotch to ankle (for pants).
Record numbers in centimetres for Canada; our chart includes both cm and inches.

Try-on & return tips
Always try garments standing in front of a mirror. Check shoulder seam alignment, sleeve length, and how the garment sits across the chest and hips.
- Layering: add 1 size for bulky sweaters/outerwear when shopping online.
- Stretch fabrics: account for give; less tolerance in woven fabrics.
- Return window: read product page for return instructions and free return eligibility.
Fabric & fit behavior
Different fibers affect fit: cotton breathes and softens; wool may felt if sized tightly; synthetics often hold shape but can feel rigid. Our product pages list fabric composition and care — use that as a first fit cue.
- Eco cotton: softens after first wash; allow slight shrinkage on first cycle.
- Recycled polyester: minimal shrinkage; consider fit for layering.
- Blends: follow care label to maintain drape and fit.
Sustainability notes: where applicable we list certifications and recycled content on product pages.
